“My roots are in Louisville, KY where I was born and raised. My mother was a painter and my father used to draw. My little sister is an unbelievable poet and my brother is a photographer, so I am from a very creative family. Because my mother raised me in a socially conscious environment, most of my art is more than just a nice picture. It is my contribution to the Pan African scholarship and research. I love drawing/painting/sketching Black culture. “
