Shauntrice L. Martin

“My roots are in Louisville, KY where I was born and raised. My mother was a painter and my father used to draw. My little sister is an unbelievable poet and my brother is a photographer, so I am from a very creative family. Because my mother raised me in a socially conscious environment, most of my art is more than just a nice picture. It is my contribution to the Pan African scholarship and research. I love drawing/painting/sketching Black culture. “

Kristin Hamm

Kristin Hamm is 31 and currently lives in Los Angeles, California. She is an attorney, but her true passion is being behind the lens of a camera. A few years ago, she was in a car accident which saved her life. As a result of the accident, a cat scan was performed which allowed doctors to discover a very large, but unruptured, aneurysm in her brain. She underwent a series of brain surgeries and suffered numerous complications, including a stroke. She is very thankful to have made it through everything and to be alive. She has always loved photography and now uses it as a way to share inspiring images of the world with others and to support wildlife charities. Please visit her RedBubble portfolio to see more of her works, which are also available for sale in numerous formats from greeting cards to framed prints. A portion of all proceeds will benefit a wildlife charity. http://kristin608.redbubble.com/works
